Our new CNV-1212 (Rancho RTSASR-12X) is a 12-port, 3 Gigabit Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Expander. This expander provides functionality for connecting targets and initiators with up to 12 phys integrated for 12 SAS initiator, SAS target, SAS expander, or Serial ATA (SATA) target devices. The expander supports both wide and narrow port configurations.

Our CNV-6898
(Rancho RTLVD-HVDR4) is a 1U-high rack-mounted QUAD SCSI multimode Expander
which provides LVD-to-HVD conversion for up to four independent channels.
This allows four LVD devices to be used with four HVD buses. This expander
allows the LVD bus to operate at up to Ultra4 speeds (320 mb/s). HVD devices
will operate up to Ultra SCSI speeds (40mb/s). The CNV-6898
can be used to extend the HVD SCSI bus up to a length of 120 feet, and can
also convert HVD to SE SCSI.

APPLICATIONS: Ideal where multiple independent LVD/HVD busses
are needed, such as when connecting LVD tape libraries to HVD servers.

Ultra3 LVD SCSI (Fast80)
Multimode Extender
The CNV-6890
(Rancho RTLVD-LVD3) is designed to extend WIDE Low Voltage Differential
(LVD) interfaces. This allows LVD peripherals to be used on cables exceeding
12 meters in length. With the CNV-6890 it
is possible to isolate two sections of the bus. Because the CNV-6890
is Multimode it can also convert LVD to SE, or extend SE to SE. This expander
allows the LVD bus to operate at Ultra3 SCSI speeds (up to 160 Mbytes/second).

The CNV-6890
(includes power cable) operates from a single +5 volt DC power supply
(not included).

APPLICATIONS: Any application
where longer cables on an LVD or SE/LVD SCSI interface are required.
The CNV-6890 can also
be used to reshape poor quality LVD signals, such as on SCSI LVD
backplanes. This also helps allow for added cable length. For example:
RAID Systems, DLT & DAT Tape Drives, Jazz Drives (removable
media), streaming tape drives, optical drives, laser printers, Hard
disk drives, optical CD-ROM, DVD and CDR drives, optical juke boxes,
etc.

Compact PCI WIDE Ultra2 SCSI (Fast40) Multimode Converter/Extender
The CNV-6896
(Rancho RTLVD-HVDPCI) converts WIDE Low Voltage Differential (LVD) to
WIDE High Voltage Differential (HVD). This allows LVD peripherals to be
used on an HVD bus. This extender allows the LVD bus to operate at Ultra2
SCSI speeds (80 mbytes/second). HVD devices will operate up to Ultra SCSI
speeds.

The CNV-6896
can also be used to extend an HVD Ultra SCSI bus, thus, increasing
its total length up to 120 feet (37 meters). Because the CNV-6896
is Multimode it can also convert HVD to SE.

APPLICATIONS:
Any application where converting HVD devices to LVD, HVD to SE or
where longer cables on a single-ended LVD or HVD SCSI interface
